How to report content that infringes your copyright, and how to respond if your content is removed.

Our approach

Video Story Ads respects the rights of creators. We ask our customers to do the same, and we respond to clear notices of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws.

How to send a takedown notice

If you believe content stored or shared through Video Story Ads infringes your copyright, email hello@videostoryads.com with the subject line "Copyright notice" and include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
  • A description of the content you believe is infringing, and where it is, such as a link, so we can find it.
  • Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are allowed to act for the owner.

What happens next

When we get a complete notice, we will remove or disable access to the content and let the account holder know. Incomplete notices may not be acted on, and we may ask you for the missing details.

Sending a notice you know is false can make you liable for damages.

How to send a counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to hello@videostoryads.com with the subject line "Counter-notice". Include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • A description of the content that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address and phone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address, or if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where Video Story Ads may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We will send your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe copyright.

Trademarks and other rights

If you believe content uses your trademark, your likeness, or your voice without permission, email hello@videostoryads.com with details. We review these reports and act under our acceptable use policy.
