Data deletion

Delete your account yourself

Sign in, open your Profile page, and choose to delete your account. You will be asked to confirm. Deletion starts right away.

Or ask us by email

Email hello@videostoryads.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may send you a 6-digit code to confirm it is really you. We will confirm by email once your account is deleted.

What is removed

• Your account and sign-in details.
• All your projects and everything written for them.
• Your uploads: voiceovers, images and clips.
• Media made for you in the app.
• Your finished videos and short versions.
• Any remaining plan or top-up credits.

What we keep

We keep billing records, such as what you bought and when, for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Copies held in backups are cleared on a regular cycle and are not used for anything else in the meantime.

Before you delete

• Download any finished videos you want to keep. Deletion cannot be undone.
• Cancel your plan if you want to stop future charges. Deleting your account also stops your plan from renewing.
• Unused plan and top-up credits are lost when your account is deleted. Payments are non-refundable, so use any credits you want first.

Deleting a single project

You do not need to delete your whole account to remove one ad. You can delete any project from your project list. Its uploads, made media and finished videos are removed with it.
